About
About The Racket House.
Artist development, private mentorship, and music marketing built for serious independent artists.
Where The Racket House came from.
The Racket House started as a direct response to artists coming to Jon for advice for years. The same questions kept arriving: what to do next, what to stop doing, and who to trust.
Founded and led by Jon Gilman. Before The Racket House, Jon was an artist manager and a record label A&R, ran a media company for ten years covering new music and festivals and interviewing global touring artists, produced events as a talent buyer and show promoter, and releases his own music as Racket Club.
The industry is hard to navigate. There is no playbook, and anyone with a laptop and an internet connection can call themselves an artist. Music is Jon's biggest passion, and The Racket House exists to give artists a way through that.
Founded and led by Jon Gilman.
