Big Success Is Built On Smaller, Consistent Actions 📈

Sometimes the journey as an independent artist can feel overwhelming. The big goals - like releasing music, growing your audience, or landing opportunities - can feel so far away. But here’s the thing: big success is built on smaller, consistent actions.

Take a moment to reflect on this past week:

  • Did you spend time working on your music?

  • Did you reach out to that talent buyer to see about booking you? What about that artist you want to collaborate with?

  • Did you post or share something with your fans? More than once?

Each of these actions, no matter how small you think they are, creates momentum. And here’s another secret: you don’t have to wait for the ‘perfect’ moment to act. There’s no such thing. So many artists get caught up waiting for the right moment or until they've accumulated enough content or music.

Your fans don’t need perfection; they need connection. Start with what you have, where you are, and trust the process.

This weekend, I challenge you to take one imperfect step toward your goals:

  • Share a snippet of your work-in-progress online.

  • Email that promoter you’ve been thinking about.

  • Go out to an event to meet people you can build relationships with.

Every step you take adds up. Keep going, because you’re closer than you think. The worst thing you can do is take your foot off the gas.

You’ve got this!
